My name is Kara.  I’m a thirty-something who works at a community college in the midwest.  I work more than I’m home.  I’m single and have no children.  I do have a dog.  I find a tremendous amount of both fulfillment and frustration in work - and imagine others, particularly those most like me - but possibly those in different categories of life as well - feel the same. 

Being at this point in my life - having completed a total educational path (bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees), having risen through several positions within the same organization, having worked for a variety of organizations in a variety of roles, both full and part-time, and having experienced enough life to know there is still something that is missing in day to day life for me, I wanted to share with others.  Perhaps through the sharing - that something that is missing will be filled.
